Alma Furisode Short Kimono

Shorter version of the Furisode kimono made of certified bamboo fabric, from the AW’22/23 SUN BLESSED collection. The spring-summer line pays homage to the hapiness, strength and vitality the Sun bestows on us all. It is a tale of its generous gifts, which make us welcome each day with new energy and the desire to truly live, to experience… to bloom!

The Japanese word Furisode means ‘swinging sleeves’ and perfectly reflects the undeniable charm of this gorgeous kimono. The characteristic flared sleeves distinguish it from similar outerwear, while the drawstrings and capacious side pockets add practicality. Thanks to the practical waist belt you can casually tie your kimono and emphasize the feminine silhouette. 

Furisode is adorned with the original ALMA print, created by Marta Przepiórka, which tells a story of a soul seeking new ways of achieving a wonderful connection with nature. The geometric pattern, inspired by Aztec culture, expresses our wish to get back to the roots, living in harmony with the surrounding world and our inner selves.

The kimono was made of certified bamboo fabric. Breathable and skin-friendly bamboo is a real life-saver on hot days! Thanks to its thermoregulatory properties and high hygroscopicity, it will provide unique comfort both in summer and early autumn. Composition: 100% bamboo viscose

At your request, for an additional fee, we will decorate the kimono with fringes, which will emphasize its originality and the holiday vibe by cheerfully dancing at the bottom. Add the "with fringes" variant to your basket and we will prepare a "de luxe" (or rather de Luks! :-)) version for you.

Kimonos without fringes have drawstrings in the sleeves that allow to tighten them.

Hand Wash at 30°C only. Dry flat.
