The pattern designed by Mary Zaleska depicts shapes and colors that resemble Agate, considered a stone of physical, emotional and intellectual strength. An ordinary, even banal stone on the outside… while inside there are mesmerizing, wonderfully irregular shapes in intense colors. Agate tells us that true beauty, just as strength, hides behind the surface that we often give too much importance to.
